Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every account starts on the Free plan, with no card needed. From inside your account you can start a 30-day trial of full Business features. A card or Bacs Direct Debit (through Stripe) is needed to start the trial, and nothing is charged until it ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing and stay on the Free plan. We'll email you before the trial ends; unless you cancel first, it converts to the plan you picked.

Is there a cap on how many properties I can manage?

No. Properties are unlimited on every tier — including Free. We meter on tenancies instead, so you can list dozens of properties and only pay for the ones with active tenants.

What happens if I exceed my tenancy quota?

New tenancies are blocked once you reach your allowance, and we'll point you to Account & Billing, where you can add extra tenancies to any paid plan (£1.25/mo each on Standard and Business, £2/mo on Starter) or upgrade. Existing tenancies are never disrupted — only new creations are blocked.

How does billing work?

All paid plans are billed via Stripe, by card or Bacs Direct Debit from your UK bank account, monthly or yearly. Both are collected on the anniversary of the date you subscribed (or, if you started with a trial, the date the trial ends) — yearly billing works out around 22% less than paying monthly. You can cancel any time — you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free.

Can I change plans?

Yes. You can upgrade any time from your account settings — you pay a pro-rated amount for the rest of the current month by Direct Debit, and the new plan's price from your next billing date. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do live bank feeds work?

A live bank feed imports your transactions automatically through open banking. Standard includes 1 bank connection and Business 3 — one connection covers every account at that bank. Extra connections are £3/mo (£36/yr on yearly billing) each. Bank feeds are not available on Free or Starter. During the free trial you can connect 1 bank; the full allowance applies once your paid plan starts. If you ever have more connections than your plan allows, the newest is paused and you have 7 days to add a connection or disconnect a feed before it is removed.

How do add-ons work?

Add-ons (extra AI credits, tenancies, message credits, e-signatures, team seats, storage and bank feed connections) top up your plan's allowance and are billed alongside your subscription. Buy only what you need, when you need it — extra tenancies, team seats, storage and bank connections are added and removed from Account & Billing and pro-rated to your billing date. Sending MTD for Income Tax quarterly updates to HMRC is included at no extra cost on paid plans for now.

Is my data secure?

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in UK and EU data centres. Some processing — the AI features, voice transcription, WhatsApp messages and analytics on our public marketing pages — happens in the USA under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and our Data Processing Agreement lists every sub-processor. We're built to meet GDPR requirements and we never sell your data.

Can I advertise my property with RentFig?

Yes, on Standard and Business plans. Publish a To Let advert to rentfig.co.uk/tolet straight from the property record — RentFig fills in the EPC rating and screens the wording against the Renters' Rights Act 2025 before it goes live. Viewing requests land in your dashboard, not a separate inbox.
