    Copy it from Settings → Refer a Landlord and send it by WhatsApp, email or however you talk to other landlords.

    Your friend orders a Full Tenant Reference through the link — no account needed — and pays £17 instead of £19 (or £15 instead of £17 if they sign up first).

    When their reference completes, £3 off is added to your account and applied automatically to your next Full Tenant Reference — £14 instead of £17.

    If they also sign up for RentFig, every payment they make earns you credit — £1 monthly or £12 yearly — for as long as they stay subscribed. It comes off your own bill automatically.

Questions

Who can refer?
Anyone with a RentFig account — a free account is enough. Open Settings → Refer a Landlord to get your link. Landlords who order references without an account can't refer yet; create a free account first and you'll also pay the member price on every check.
Does my friend need an account?
No. They can order a Full Tenant Reference straight from the referencing page and the £2 comes off at checkout. If they'd rather sign up first, the discount applies to their first full reference as a member too.
When do I get my reward?
As soon as your friend's reference completes — usually within 48 hours of them ordering. We email you, and the £3 is applied automatically the next time you order a Full Tenant Reference from your RentFig account. There's no code to type.
Can I use it on a credit check?
No. Both the friend discount and the reward apply to the Full Tenant Reference only, and to one reference per order.
Is there a limit?
You can earn up to 5 referencing rewards in any 12-month period, and each reward is valid for 12 months. Each landlord can only be referred once, and they must be new to RentFig referencing.
What if the order is refunded?
If a referred order is refunded, disputed or cancelled, the referral doesn't count and any unused reward from it is withdrawn.
What if my friend also subscribes to RentFig?
Then you earn ongoing credit too, separately from the reference reward: £1 for every monthly RentFig payment they make, or £12 for a yearly one, for as long as they stay subscribed. It's credited to your own RentFig bill automatically — there's nothing to redeem. This only counts if they sign up through your link (or clicked it in the 30 days before signing up); it can't be added after the fact.
Does subscription credit have a limit?
Up to 20 referred subscribers per account in any 12-month period, and your unspent credit balance is capped at £500. If your friend cancels their subscription, you simply stop earning from them — nothing already credited is taken away, unless their payment is later refunded or disputed.

The terms, in full

  • The referrer must hold a RentFig account. The referred landlord (“friend”) must not have paid for any RentFig reference before, must not be a member of the referrer's RentFig team, and can be referred once only.
  • The friend discount (£2) applies to the friend's first Full Tenant Reference ordered through the referral link within 30 days of clicking it. It does not apply to credit checks.
  • The reward (£3) is issued when the friend's reference completes, applies to one Full Tenant Reference ordered from the referrer's RentFig account, and expires 365 days after issue. One reward per order; rewards have no cash value and can't be transferred.
  • A maximum of 5 rewards per account in any rolling 12-month period.
  • A referral is withdrawn, along with any unused reward, if the friend's order is refunded, disputed or cancelled, or if we reasonably believe the referrer and friend are the same person or business.
  • If the friend also signs up for a RentFig account through the link (or within 30 days of clicking it), the referrer earns £1 credit for every one of the friend's monthly RentFig subscription payments that settles, or £12 for a yearly payment, for as long as the friend's subscription remains active. Credit has no cash value, can't be withdrawn or transferred, and applies only to the referrer's own RentFig subscription invoices.
  • A maximum of 20 referred subscribers per account in any rolling 12-month period, and an unspent credit balance can never exceed £500. Subscription credit is withdrawn, in the same way as a referencing reward, if the earning payment is refunded or disputed.
  • Please only share your link with people who'd welcome it. Don't post it as a voucher code or send it unsolicited. RentFig may change, suspend or withdraw either part of the scheme, or an individual link, at any time.
