Properties
If you rent a property from its owner (on a lease, company let or management agreement) and let it on to your own tenants or to a council, mark it as rented from the owner. You stay the landlord for your tenants; RentFig tracks the head lease, the rent you pay the owner, and your margin.
They belong to the owner, not you, so they're hidden for these properties unless something was already recorded there.
No — RentFig never changes the bill by itself. The panel says when the bill and the lease no longer match; change or end the bill in Accounting → Bills, and check any bill already raised for the coming period.
Tenure stays how the property itself is owned (freehold, leasehold and so on) — the national landlord register asks that separately. The owner's name and email are what it asks for as your superior landlord.
