Tenancies
For properties let to a council that places households at short notice. The council is the tenant; the households it places are recorded as placements; and each month you raise one invoice to the council for all its properties.
Someone still placed is charged to the end of the month invoiced. Set their move-out date, then cancel that month's council invoice and create it again. A council invoice can't be cancelled once money is against one of its invoices.
No — a month can only be invoiced once it has started.
End the council's tenancy and start a new one. Households still placed are charged to the new tenancy for the same room or flat from the day after the old one ended. If no single council tenancy takes over, the council invoice lists them as left out.
Unmatch it from Accounting → Transactions (the bank line's Unmatch): its payments are removed, the property invoices go back to unpaid, and the split by property is taken off. Then record it on the right council invoice.
Members with full Accounting access who can see every portfolio, because a council invoice can cover properties in several portfolios.
